How long should it take to see results eating like this?

I've been in this terrible cycle of binge eating then crash dieting and taking laxatives for such a long time. This year I have made a resolution to Be a healthier person and sustain healthier eating.

I'm basically eating lots of protein and eliminating white sugar bread and rice. Instead I'm opting for brown rice whole grains and more fruit and vegetables.

I'm having a protein shake with no sugar for breakfast, a wrap or salad or healthy stirfry for lunch and a lentil and chicken soup for dinner (thickened with some basmati rice). I'm drinking more water and swapping coke zero for natural sugar free cordial.
