How did u quit?

I'm on the chantix meds to stop smoking... day 2 wondering who's tried it... did it work.. What advice do u have? Thank u

Just don't buy cigarettes, that's how I quit. It's actually killing you but you hope it'll be fine, it's called denial. If you were in a house fire and breathed in a load of smoke you'd want a doctor to examine you, you're doing that by choice smoking a cigarette. I'm glad I quit, my skin is better, food tastes better and I have the lung capacity of a whale! Keep it up!

I smoked for 5 years and then suddenly decided to quit on the way to my GF's house once.

I used an electronic cigarette for 4-5 months and then I stopped using it completely. I haven't had a smoke since (Just under a year).

It's possible, you just need strong willpower and you need to replace smoking with something different, something healthier.

I didn't use chantix. I used zyban. It worked perfectly. It tells you to keep smoking during the first week you're on it. After 5 days, it made me sick to my stomach to smoke. Like I lterally threw up after smoking. So I stopped smoking after 7 days. Now when I smell smoke, it makes me both want a cigarette and pike at the same time. It's like a mind fuck lol. But haven't since July of last year :)

Not for smoking, but I quit many things health related. Just get the determination and the care that you want for yourself and you should just stop buying them and quit instant just like that. Thats how I did it, I have really good dedication though.
