Why does GAG auto-select MHO without giving extra time to choose?

They seemingly like to reward the longest answers, which GAG misinterprets as automatically being better just for being longer and grammatically correct, but it just encourages the weird AI answers no matter how silly they are. They don't let you pick all four so no matter whether you choose two yourself or not, they insist on being a part of it. Size matters... or at least length does lol

Also I believe they give it too early at times before other answers can come in because if a user gives an insightful answer “too late” the questioner and the flawed system ignores it completely.

GAG loves to act like they are all for the community, but doesn’t listen to their community when they tell them Remove The AI Bots as an example however they don’t listen and will never listen.

They used to give 5 days before they autoselected. Then they shortened it to 3 days which really sucks. It's not enough time for more people to answer.

Because G@G admins doesn't care about us users, they only care about MH getting selected to get people to move on to new questions. There was once a time in GAG's history, where there was not only no time limit to select MH, but you could select a different Opinion as MH, then G@G removed the option to change our minds about who's MH, they they put time limits in place auto selected MH to force people to select MH, then they shortened time for no apparent reason.

Yeah , I don't bother choosing anymore ( I used to ) only if I've had a stack of really good responses do I even consider.. It gives you simply not enough time..

Auto-select typically happens on the third day after a question is posted. That's why I always pick my MHO choices after 2 days.

They give you like a one day final notice about you didn’t choose most helpful award in the message. Then if you still don’t do it, they just hand it out randomly

Probably because if you don't do it, it will. You get notified in your mail that you need to pick people for MHO, and if you ignore that warning, then the system goes ahead and does it anyway.
