I've been low carbing for some time, but now I'm losing only about 1-2lbs per week...
What diet allows me to lose lots of fat, but still retain muscle?

Go a protein and low carb diet. It's exactly what you are looking for. Cut out carby breads and such and eat meat, eggs, cheese, and chocolate milk. Your body will crave carbs bad for about a week, then when you get through it, it will become so very easy. You will trim down your fat and gain muscle. I did this for wrestling and it worked great
Keep protein intake on a high *1.5g per bodyweight* and go heavy *4-6 reps* and keep cardio sesh under 40mins. #beastmode
What about carbs and fat numbers?
Do they decrease or increase on workout days?
well if you're trying for keto then it should remain under 50g and for carb cycling it should increase. Which one would you like?
That's the thing, I'm not sure if keto or carb cycling burns fat faster.
But if I were to do keto, you're saying that my pre workout can't be more than 50g of carbs and my post workout can't be more than 50g either Right?
Meh, both works. You're already losing 1-2lbs/week (you said) and that's pretty ideal.
Lol no, to achieved keto you must have 50g carbs or less... the whole day. That's why I prefer carb cycling just to keep my sanity hah.
- Lean proteins (a lot)
- whole grains
- Lots of water
Your work out should be consisted of mostly heavy weights.

all of them if you continue to lift, just cut out some fat and carbs
ketogenic diet is the best, high protein and fat, but no carbs what so ever
