Should I lose body fat % or keep eating for muscle mass?

I've been working out for a year and I noticed that in the past 6 months I gained 4.5kg/10lbs.

I started with 20-22% body fat and now my fat % is the same (I don't know) but I believe I've gained muscles because I can lift more weight.

If I cut will my strength decline a lot? and should I eat even more protein so I can keep the muscle. My weight is 75-76kg/165-7lbs and my height is 173cm/5ft8. I don't really want to gain more weight for muscle mass but also I want to look aesthetics.
