Lost my voice from being sick. Could this be laryngitis?

I have been sick for the past few days with a sore throat and today I had a really deep voice (I sounded like a man lol) that cracked a lot. So I took a short nap and when I woke up it hurt to try and talk but I couldn't hear myself talk. I know I lost my voice but could this just be from my sore throat? How long can this last?

You have laryngitis, I've had it too. The best thing you can do is rest your voice and stay hydrated. The more you try and speak the longer it will take to repair. It should go away in about a week.

Yes could be laryngitis or strep throat will do that too

Gargle with warm, salt water that is home remedy for bad throat

I have had strep throat many times before but it never resulted in me losing my voice like this.
