How much does a personal trainer cost? Can a teen afford one? Are they worth it?

I'm a 16 year old girl really wanting to lose weight and get in shape. I'm 5'2 and weigh 158 lbs. I want to lose about 40-50 lbs during the summer, I don't have a job yet but I'll be getting one this summer, how much would one cost? Please help

It really depends I've seen trainers work for anywhere from $20 to $200 an hour. You don't need a personal trainer to lose weight though. All you need is a gym membership and a healthy diet. If you really want a trainer it's much cheaper to do group sessions instead of 1 on 1

They are not necessary, trust me. Use YouTube and google to get instructions on how to perform certain exercises.

My ex had one for 10 weeks for £100 which comes to £10 a week so they shouldn't be too costly. A personal trainer isn't always necessary though. Just go to the gym with someone who goes regularly, they can help you.

I paid 1200 for like 12 session and I didin't pay because the trainer was horrible.
