How can I lose 20 pounds fast?

Okay so I weigh 150 and I want to at least be 130 to 120 pounds. please give me helpful tips and things that would help

Hi there. Your goal shouldn't be about losing weight quickly. It should be about making healthy and consistent changes in your diet and lifestyle. You're young so you have time on your side. The better decisions you make on your diet now will hopefully affect the way your diet looks in the future. Learning to make time to cook healthy meals and eating good foods is better than going on a water and lettuce diet for 2 months, losing weight then going back to unhealthy foods/lifestyle. Make changes for the long run, they don't have to be quick :D

People who are still in school can't really "cook healthy meals" for themselves all the time, I mean they still live with family and they don't have much time to do that stuff, etc. Dieting like that usually isn't realistic for someone under 18.

Really, you think in school you have no time? Working full time takes up more time than school.
Also I was referring to 'diet' as your general diet not a food cutting diet. I was cooking healthy meals in high school. Its easy and cheaper than junk food..

With what BZ was saying, she could also make her own lunches and snack packs, grabbing a bag of carrots or something between classes and what not, it would be more difficult then hopping the pizza line I agree, but dieting to lose weight is what you have to do

Your body uses about 2000 calories a day and one pound of fat is 3600 calories so if you ate nothing and ran a few hours a day, theoretically you could lose a pound of fat a day.

Or you can just accept that it takes time and you can't lose it fast.

Maybe reconsider what you're eating and try to get more exercise. I think once you've identify the reason for the weight gain you can make progress.

Exercise and count your calories. Two pounds a week is about the safe maximum, and that requires serious effort,
