Is this normal?

So I woke up at 11:15 and had to pee which I always do when I wake up. It was a darkish colour so I drank 1 litre of water and then 20 mins after that I had to pee and then about half an hour after that I peed again. Is this a normal response to drinking that much water or is it too frequent?

it´s normal. the darker the urin the less hydrated the body. if you drink a lot the body will just "flush" it through because it thinks :"hey there is a lot of water... might as well clean up a bit" if it´s still dark then, there is something wrong. usually the next pee is clear then.

Dark yellow? You were dehydrated. No worries.

Pinkish? Maybe infection. If there today, see a doctor.

yeah it was dark yellow but now its clear both times I've been

No. Not too many time. 1 liter is a lot.

When you're dehydrated, your body wants to retain water so it does and you can feel bloated. . When you replenish the supply, you can pee more than you drank because you're not retaining water now.

its fine. Although if it becomes clear but u still pee a lot, you might want to check the sugar level in your blood.

Dark yellow means you are dehydrated. You definitely drank enough water to rehydrate, and after drinking that much water, it is normal to urinate quite often during the next hour or so.
