Do they get scaly at all? If so, it might be a skin problem not bites.
What ever it is. Don't scratch. No matter what it is, scratching will make it worse because your nails have bacteria which you are then introducing to already compromised skin.
If you are really concerned about it, go to the doctor. Other wise try hydrocortisone cream or ointment and wait a while.
I had a mystery bite/ skin problem that acted like mosquitoe bites (at first) too, and found that if I kept them clean and left them alone they would heal in about a week. If I scratched or rubbed at all I would have them for a month or longer. And rubbing them just made them itch more

It could be mites or sarcoptic mange. I've had it before. Either way you need to see what it is so you can get treatment for it.
