I don't think a banana and almond butter are going to kill you there :)
Both are healthy, and you'll probably enjoy your run better (unless you get acid reflux or anything?) I don't think the calorie difference will be important or anything :p Being comfortable and enjoying the exercise is more important!

Go ahead and eat your banana before. Eating something small will get your metabolism moving and that's what you want for your run
if you eat a bit before you are fueled to be able to have a better run, you will be able to go faster and harder than if you hadn't eaten so it's a more effective workout.

it´s actually bad to work out on an empty stomach. the way you do it now is fine. you could drink a black coffee too to speed up your metabolism.

Well as long as you eat the same amount as you normally would. Some people get tired and end up overeating
