How do you like your barbecue/steak?

For most steak, I like it medium rare. If it is one of those really high quality meats though, I like it rare. For burgers, I like medium.

However, I have an uncle that eats it practically burnt-- until it's shoe leather. I don't know how he does it. Yuck.

honestly it doesn't matter, as long as I don't die from food poisoning from an under cooked steak, But it has to be flowing with juices.
