I honestly don't want to have this conversation with my parents, but I'm unfortunately still on their insurance.
Does anyone know what i could do?
Go down to the insurance place and speak with one of the agents. Give them your id and info and let them know you no long wish to be on your parents' insurance. Since your an adult they won't need to clear it with them. You'll be given some papers to sign and that's it. Also when you get BC don't use the insurance card u got from your parents. You can pay cash or go get your own insurance policy.
Well their probably get a statement about the Dr. visit & possibly a co-pay bill from the prescription.
I know a lot of girls are prescribed birth control pills to regulate their flow. Your mom should know this. I'm sure the Dr. will go along with this story and it's Dr. patient confidentiality. So he really can't just "tell your parents"
