This is supposed to be the perfect diet for losing belly fat.
Breakfast: You should eat whole grain bread + some berries (any kind of berries!)
Lunch: brown rice with vegetable of your choice (artichokes and asparagus are the best)
Dinner: eat something light- like oatmeal
You should also opt to have two snacks between meals- one between breakfast and lunch and the other one between lunch and dinner. Apparently the ideal snack is yogurt and sunflower seeds.
Of course, it would be insanely boring to eat the same things everyday. The general rule here is to get rid of bad fats from your diet and replace them with good fats.
And yes, that means staying away from junk food.
Also, try eating appetizers before lunch- like soup or a salad- they will make you eat less of your actual meal and that is good.
As for the exercise part, you should check out this awesome channel03 Reply- +1 y

+1 yNot only are vegetables like kale, lettuce and broccoli practically calorie-free, they're also full of vitamins and are super-filling. Munching on these at lunchtime or for snack will make you less likely to eat something naughty and pudge-inducing later on.
You know cardio is critical to tummy-toning, but weight-lifting just as clutch since it helps up your body's lean muscle mass. The more muscle you have, the more efficiently your body processes calories and burns body fat. So not only will you get a sculpted middle, you'll also make it so you can eat more without packing on any extra poundage.11 Reply- +1 y
Same here. I eat many veggies and fruits and have even been voted in high school as most healthiest. But that is off topic. I have been through losing weight. Like big time. For about 6 years I have eaten carefully and exercised. There is all that stuff like body type, metabolism rate, fat percentage, and all those crazy exercise moves that torch belly fat, but the most important thing is that it will all work out if you are committed to it. It's good to hear that you took Hardcore Pilates and are working hard, but do you eat correctly after working out. I have also fallen off the weight losing wagon many times because of me getting to comfortable on the couch. Maybe that is your problem.
I think its a matter of reducing body fat, doesn't matter how many situps you do.
My experience is that eating too much carbohydrate leads to overall fat gain, two years ago I did the 2week carb test ( https://philmaffetone.com/2-week-test/ ). During the test I lost around 2kg and I was fit at that point, around 12% body fat when I started the test. Two weeks after I finished the test I lost another kg.
I don't try the test now and I don't eat like that because I care about my muscle mass, if your body doesn't have enough carbs it will go to your muscle for energy and this matters for me now but I will do test again at the beginning of winter ( I am back to my original weight I had before the test 2 years ago).
If you are active this test could help you clean your eating and reach your goal.00 Reply

There is no such thing as spot fat removal. Since you know this then you should know the best thing you can do is lower overall fat composition and then eventually the fat being burned would then be around your abdominal area. You better start doing cardio or some interval training exercises to lose that fat.00 Reply

A bump is natural on your stomach, though. If you're still trying to get rid of that then just obviously try and stay away from junk food like fast food, unhealthy snacks, all that. I'm also pretty sure you know this, too. If you are used to having big meals every day, like I am, then what would be best is to have 1-2 days where you eat healthily. For example, the dinner would be full of greens and no soda or any beverages with a lot of sugar. I had to do this for 2 months because a family member became sick and I could notice the difference. Just combine this with daily ab exercise and you'll definitely get there.

+1 yok so I am really knowledgable in this topic. Most people's gut micro biome is not in check when you are holding on to belly fat. So the main triggers of this are a reaction to:
-bread and other wheat products
-sugars
-non organic corn (contains chemical that increase estrogen production etc.)
eat more oils (not grape seed or canola)
for more information read:
grain brain
good calories, bad calories
and look up Dr hymen he has a practice and many book that are all very trustworthy sources. good luck and if you have the money (its about 4k) go to his practice and get a bunch of lab tests done to see what fucks up your micro biome.
good luck and diet is how you change mood and reduce body fat not working out however that is necessary for the release of hormones so don't stop what you are already doing.
PS DO NOT BUY INTO THE WHOLE LOW FAT SHIT IT IS A SCAM AND FAT IS GOOD FOR YOUR BODY.00 ReplyMy boyfriend is a fitness instructor and my mother is a dietician and nutritionist. And I was talking yo them about this topic the other day.
Most women see their abs at around 18%, however everyone is different and someone will see visible abs at 22%.
You should try to have 5 small meals a day and avoid eating after 6. Cardio helps to burn fat whilst weight lifting will help you maintain your muscles.
Good foods to have a natural yogurt, eggs, bran, wholemeal foods, cranberry, bananas, celery, avocado, watermelon, lemons. The food mentioned are either low fat, contain antioxidants, aid fat loss or prevent water retention. You should drink plenty of water and green tea if you like it!.
Goodluck! You sound like you're in excellent shape though! :*00 ReplyUnlike most recommendations, to lose belly fat, it is not good to train your abs or do crunches.
Here's why:
When you train a muscle, it'll start burning from the fat layer on top of it.
Once you're at your weight, those fat tissues will be much quicker replenished, than when you wouldn't train.
So what do you need to do?
Look at a body part most women do well in gaining weight:
Butt, hips, and legs.
Train those. They will drain some of your belly fat, but when you stop working out, only add the fat on the hips/legs, which is a good thing, since it makes your belly appear to be flatter, when your bum sticks out a bit more!
Oh, and there's nothing more sexy than lightly muscled legs, and a big bottom!10 Reply(Avoid)
* Saturated fat
* Trans fat
* Too many calories
* Processed foods
* Sugary drinks
(Lose the extra weight)
* Eat healthier, not less
* Run run run (short sprints are better than long walks) Intensity > Reps (time)
* Keep track of calorie intake and don't take more than you should
TIP: if you want to lose the weight, you have to do cardio.11 Reply- +1 y
"Eat healthier, not less" to lose weight you cannot substitute the calories you currently eat with healthy food if it's still the exact same calories...
367 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. Since you are already thin and you like working out, I'd suggest you to do more excercises for strengthening your abs. The purpose of those exercises isn't to spot reduce fat, or flatten belly, but to strengthen the muscles there, making your belly harder.

+1 yMore cardio and stick to healthy foods but there is no point obsessing about foods unless you are bodybuilding really (yes you can have the pizza on Saturday). add cardio by running back home in the afternoon also try doing exercise during daily activities like standing in the computer so you can squat and stuff or read a book on plank position etc.. It takes time

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yResearch some sports outside of what you are doing, even Google images might help but around your neighborhood is best, as this is what will serving up venues to train like that. The gals with the abs you want = the sports you might try. Around here, water time is hard to get as recreational (splash/talk) makes more money than lap swimmers, so anything that gets the knees up/down does best = walk, jog, run, bike... then add weight/pack to burn more calories than intake.
00 Replycan you handle the push up position? cause there's an excersise that you basically just touch your palm to your opposite side knee and it works your balance, core, legs and forearms. its kinda fun cause you don't have to rush through it.
10 ReplyI started doing russian twists with my legs up in the air and it really helped me to tone up in that area, I usually do 15x, 3 sets when I work out (usually 4x a week).

+1 yFats all over your body so you can't lose fat from a specific body part.
Just eat right, don't eat cards after lunch and do a lot of cardio and it will go.10 ReplyOverall bodyfat % reduction. No other way. Some people say that if you eat this type of carbs you'll gain/lose weight in this and that area but that's bs.

+1 yThis doesn't require some long answer lol. 2 easy steps.
1. Cardio (Running, Biking, Swimming, most sports that involve running)
2. Eat healthy foods, and cut out the crap. Watch your caloric intake.00 Replyyou need more cardio, its all about a balance of calories in vs calories out, either reduce your caloric intake or increase how many calories you burn, go for a run first thing in the morning every day, you'll see a big change trust me :)

Common sense will tell you eat only healthy foods - but if you don't do that already, you probably won't start now.00 Reply

Great shit, just keeps your body eating that fat, but not muscle while you sleep :)01 Reply- +1 y
Never eat cards before bed, or fat obviously. Don't eat a big dinner, huge breakfast, big healthy lunch. Protein not carbs!
yes,
Avoid processed foods! Including white breads (eat whole grains only)
get most of your calories in the morning, and have a smaller lunch/dinner
Take a whey protein supplement.
