weight does matter to us but once we decided to date you, it means that we overlooked that fact, otherwise we wouldn't even let you get into our personal space so what drove them away is definitely not her weight.

Yes weight does matter, depending on how overweight she is, but it's ok because weight is something you can change. All she needs to do is learn to control her diet and exercise a lot and she will lose weight. It might be difficult, but it's not impossible.

It depends how overweight she is. Lots of girls think they are overweight when really they are not. And even ones that are a bit overweight, id still date them. The body isn't as important to me as the face and personality.
Obviously you need to take care of yourself and your weight, but a girl that's all skin and bones isn't really much better - in my opinion is worse
It does matter but we'd take that into account before dating commenced. Clingy is something you discover later and is bad even if they're skinny waifs.
Weight matters some, but it probably wouldn't be a deal-breaker unless you were too out of shape to stand up without breathing hard. Either way, it's a lot less of an issue than clingy is.
