Guys, I am new to Working out. What are the parts of the body which I need to split my workouts (arms, chest, legs?) What days should I do each etc?

So I do not really know how to train to gain muscle, ignoring the nutrition etc, I just wanted to know how to train more effectively.

I´ve read that I need to let my muscles recover so that they grow. Now I've also read how each day I should train a different part of the body and this is where I get a little lost. What days should I do arms, chest, legs etc? Am I missing any body part? Or are they only these three?

Also, how can I know what exercises are specifically for the body parts? To me it seems that doing normal weights work the chest and biceps, but I do not know if this only counts as biceps. I am just confused. Any input would be appreciated :)
