Have you ever had a hemorrhoid?

I have one for the first time and it's freaking me out. It was reddish colored and now it's black with what looks like dried blood and it grew to the size of half my pinky finger. Have you ever had this happen? I can't go to the doctor right now because office is closed. I have no sick days left at work and so if I call off I will be written up and possibly fired (my workplace is very strict). I really don't want to go to the ER about this either. :-/

No I haven't and knocking on wood I never do. Good luck with that and you should go to the ER if it's getting bigger

Hemorrhoid creams and wipes are available and very helpful in these situations. Call your doctor and make an appointment just in case though.

Mine went away after several months of careful and cautious pooping. I've also probably tripled my consumption of fiberous foods.

I used a very popular chinese ointment sold on Amazon.

I've had them.. have them a lot now... sucks... Just get the cream and wipes until you can get to a dr. You could go to an urgent care facility on a day off or after work, if you can't get an appointment during your hours.
