Don't give a fuk about others just do your thing.
There's lactic acid burning pain then there's you-are-about-to-seriously-fuk-up-something-and-get-injured pain. If it's the second kind of pain e. g. knees hurt when squating just stop. You are not a man trying to push through it you are just being stupid.
Whatever gives you the most lactic acid pain, do that.
Better you can only do two legit reps with proper form than 10 half-assed ones.
So yeah research proper form for your exercises and know what to do.
Callisthenics have low chance of injury. Weights have much higher chance.
Callisthenics generally engage more muscles. Weights make you much bigger. E. g. pushups can be seen as sort of an upside down bench press, but they also work out core.
If you've never run before you will very quickly realize how shit you are at it.
Progress will not be as fast as you like it to be. There are no shortcuts.
Get something healthy to eat afterwards.
I was once told that you have more testosterone in your legs cuz that's where your balls are, so you get more bang for your sweat if you work your legs every time even if lightly to spread that hormone throughout your body.
You hear stuff about protein powder, creatine, such and such. Can't say it's bad cuz the guys using it are still standing but just exactly how much is it benefiting you it's hard to tell. If you can't eat it until you are full and not poison yourself then you may want to seriously consider what you are putting into your body. Stuff like vegetables you can eat however much you want and not get poisoned.

You need to warm up before the session it is especially important for fitness beginners because you are just establishing your workout routine start by doing some light stretching in the major muscle groups that you will be working, let your muscles warm up and gradually increase your intensity also avoid doing too much your goal for your first time working out is to feel better than when you started. Don't feel compelled to stay at the gym for two or three hours or work as hard as you possibly can the best fitness is built up by putting together quality training sessions over the course of many months and years.
always start with warmup. dont stress urself and dont push too much. start with 10-15 mins then extend the time when u build stamina. do modifications of exercises that u find difficult. always stretch in the end. brisk walk is the best thing to start with. do brisk walk for 2-3 weeks at home and then join gym and go for weight lifting
1. Be nice and smile, don't star and mad dogg people
2. Always ask if anyone is using a machine, bench or weights
3. If you need to use a machine that someone is currently using ask them if you can work in with them
4. Re-rack all weights!
5. Clean and wipe down your equipment if you leave it super sweaty

Before you go to the gym look up a workout routine online. There is a ton free ones out there. Decide what your goals are like: do you want to look like a gorilla, do you want to look like an A&F model, are you working out to lose weight, are you doing it to look bigger? These are the things you need to know before so you don't go in there and wage your time. Find a routine that meets your goals and follow it. If you have any questions about certain excersices do some YouTube research.
Just take it slow and pre-game lol!
