Is there still a chance for me to get taller?

Okay, so I am 16 years old and 5'3". I started puberty when I was ten but I didn't get significantly taller right away. I remember four years ago, when I was twelve, I was about 4'10". By the ending of seventh grade, I had reached 5'0" (basically I had started my huge growth spurt). By the ending of eighth grade I was 5'2". By the middle of ninth grade I have reached my current height and I have stopped there ever since. I really haven't gotten taller in a year and I am still short. My doctor said I might have stopped getting taller but it isn't guaranteed that I actually have. He said I have reached the age where most girls have reached their final height. Is there still a chance for me to grow a bit more? I always looked young for my age and my height isn't helping...

by the way, I was born premature so is that a factor or something?

Right now im 5'7 and 18 years old lol so i feel your pain but last year i grew an inch after not growing for 3 years. Also i have a cousin who kept growing till he was 20 and is like 6'2 now and 5'10 and 17 so there's still hope but most likely you will be short:( i know a lot of girls who wish they were shorter. My ex was 5'8 and she alaways said she wish she was a cute height like 5'5 or something so i dont think its a huge deal:)

Thanks. My doctor says my final height may be around 5'3" or 5'4" since my mom is only 5'2" so I was a bit concerned when I saw that my sister is 5'5" but she was the same height when she was my age. Hopefully I get a bit taller tho.

you are 16 so don't worry you will get taller until 21 years old , any way your height depends on many factors , and its Set genetically , make sure to get a healthy diet + sport , gl

nope its for both man and female , if your parents are tall then don' t worry you will become taller

most females continue to grow until they turn 18, then stop. you may get a but taller, but probably not much more than an inch or two.

Yeah i was like 5'1 in highschool and now im 5'2. Im content with my height and no one really mentions it to me

Yes you'll get taller probably! A lot of girls dont respond to me either. Probably because i like talking to girls about stripping for them, lol!
