Would you date a girl with a gap in her front teeth?

I'm 27 years old. I was born with a gap between my front teeth. All my life I've never had a problem with it. No dentist ever said anything about it. It's not HUGE but it's noticeable. I never had a problem with it or became self-conscious about it until my mother brought it up a few years ago, saying she regrets not getting me braces to close it. She keeps implying that I should get it fixed, saying I would be pleased with the result and that I would get more guys asking me out.

She thinks this gap is the reason I've never had a serious boyfriend. I tried to argue that I've never had a boyfriend because I never seriously went out looking for one or was truly ready for a relationship. She said that most women don't need to look for a guy; guys just come to them without them needing to do anything.

My question is, guys, how do you feel about women with a gap in their front teeth? I know I'm too old to care what my mother thinks of me but it's really starting to nag me now, and I'm not sure whether I should save up money to get it fixed.

I don't think it's anything to put yourself at a financial instability for.

There are plenty of people with absolutely horrid teeth that I've dated; you learn to be accustomed to how they appear, and when you fall for them, the fact of them "changing" those things that adds character will drive you crazy (metaphorically, not literally...)

Regardless, it's always a wise choice to be constantly improving. It opens up new windows of opportunity and other things. It will look good not only to potential boyfriends, but also employers; the general public will have a better first impression if you have it corrected.

Though I will admit, that I am a sucker for teeth that don't look like a horse-bite.

Well to be really honest with you LittleBee I would date a girl that has a gab between her front teeth because that's who is and that's how she was born. Plus looks are not really that important to some ppl, but then again there's some people that's are the opposite.. but I would date a girl that has a gab between her front teeth, its who she is and I would tell her don't change nothing about how you look or feel. that's the honest truth to your Question LittleBee.

I had a friend in school who had a gap too but I thought it was pretty and guys liked her, but after school she went and got it closed up. I don't know, I personally don't think it made her look better it was just strange looking cause I was used to her with the gap. I don't think you should change it cause it's part of who you are

I really wouldn't worrie about it, a guy isn't dateing you for what's in your mouth he is dateing you cause of what on the outside.

I have natural gap since birth in front two teeth and my girlfriend kept a condition to fix the gap to continue relationship
