Will pilates help me reach my fitness goals?

I'm a skinny, inverted triangle shaped chick who hates her body and wants to change it. I'm in good shape, my arms being the most fit part of my body (they are visibly muscled). But fat likes to distribute itself around my waist, leaving none leftover for my nonexistent hips or flabby butt.

I want to start following Blogilates' workout calendars but I don't want it to be for nothing, the workouts need to help me reach my goals---my goals being to lose the excess fat on my torso and have a nice skinny little waist, and get a lifted butt and thicker hips/thighs. Will pilates accomplish that for me, or will I just lose weight (which is NOT what I want)?
