You can't loose wight from specific spots, some people will just have to be content with having certain spots a little larger than most. What you can do is loose weight in general and tone. The best tip I can give someone who's main aim is to loose weight is to WALK, doing nothing at home, WALK, on your lunch break at work, WALK, walk more than you sleep, stand when you are typing at the computer.
Apart from that, hit the gym and get a good trainer. A no brainer is to cut out any junk food and if you really want to loose weight then become a vego.
i think running is good. you should keep your self busy but don't run beacuse you have to lose weight run because you want to. I'm in marching band. I loss a lot of weight. I was once 148 pouds.. than I last alo and weighed 128 ! . butthan I gained again and went to 132 .. but it helped I feel so much better I look hotter in pictures too!
so like join a sport, or run with a group of friend just twice a week. than keep working out at home.

I was gonna write the same thing greg did. Walking is great exercise, especially if you keep a decent speed and add some hills. Your butt and thigh area will really tone up, and if you focus on keeping your core tight, your abs will too.
oh!.. go to ...gilad's bodies in motion... training on your tv.. or by the dvds for only $30.. seriouly it works. my tights are soo skinny ! .. to like find the site just type in ..gilad's bodies in motion... in google!
