I hear it is rough on pores i have heard that as a teen back in the day. I worked for beauty lines and skin care for big name products and one was proactive. The others were Pericone and more.
The idea is The proactive for example has a shape to the crystals the micro beads that get in the pore they won't damage the pore wall. The dissolving properties and anti bacterial powers release in the pore and don't irritate the outside skin. Proactive works great for some and some have worse acne or adverse reactions. It depends on the person and the specific product. But that is my answer about the apricot pits. The spin brushes from meaningful beauty and proactive are great.

It's really good, I used it for years and loved it! But recently my skin has changed and so it was over drying my skin, and wouldn't actually do anything about the impurities or clogged pores, and my skin has become sensitive too, I have a natural blush now lol, and trust me brown skin never used to have even a hint of colour!
But anyway I've now switched over to Neutrogena's product range and specifically go for the Visibly Clear range, I use their pink grapefruit facial wash daily, and the Blackhead Eliminating Cleanser and Correct & Perfect Scrub weekly.
My skin has never looked better!
I also use the L'oreal clay detox mask every two weeks.
i imagine it's ok. i would use it in a small area just to see how your body reacts.

i used to use that a long time ago. i can't now because i found out i have sensitive skin. wish i'd known that before i started getting acne as a teen. proactive and other chemicals were very harsh. when i switched to an alcohol free sensitive skin line all the acne disappeared.
Exfoliating scrubs are good for your skin... in moderation!
It's not recommended to use an exfoliant every night, because the roughness of the scrub can be really harsh on your face and leave your skin raw (which is what causes breakouts, especially on sensitive skin). I recommend to use a soapy/smooth or 'soft' soap as your usual face wash, and use the exfoliating scrub every other night! That way you won't irritate your face and you'll keep your skin chemistry in balance! :)I would not use it very often. Maybe once every two weeks and make sure you are very gentle with your skin. I would rub it gently and use warm water. Pat it dry with a very soft towel. Right now I am using a perfectly post pore fect face wash bar and I love it, very gentle and gets EVERYTHING including make up off. wear make up very little, like once every 3 months. And try to put lotion on at night and during the day (I use day cream with spf 30 and night cream from aveeno)
It just depends on your individual skin. If your skin is very sensitive, you may want to try something more gentle. If you break out easily, you should probably use a product that's intended for oily skin.
If your skin is normal, this product might be fine for you. The most important thing to remember with exfoliation is not to use it too frequently and to apply a moisturizer afterward. Don't overdo it, because it makes your skin more vulnerable and can dry it out.Everyone is different and when it comes to acne I'm tired of people saying like "don't use it because I broke out". Well, clearly the scrub wasn't right for you! doesn't mean it wasn't right for other people. Use so as you wish only reply on reviews that matter like if out 250 people and all of them had a horrible rash or got blisters from a product then maybe consider their reviews. When it just something minor like breakouts doesn't mean the product is the satan of all products.
It's kind of harsh on sensitive skin. The breakout is normal in some cases - you're letting the impurities and stuff in your skin rise closer to the surface and the acne should start diminishing after a few weeks of use. Though if your scrub is bad then it could cause acne due to bacteria.
Also you should only use it a few times a week.I LOVED that when I was a teenager and occasionally pick some up if my skin is super dry. Ifor you have sensitive/problem skin exfoliating everyday could be nice issue though.
Nvr used it but some people have more sensitive skin than others, it could break others out but not you
believe me these things do nothing. i had these marks, nothing made them fade away. then i realized that not using soap and less use of water helped me. more importantly avoid all oily and spicy food for at least 2 weeks. eat healthy
Instead of exfoliating, the small apricot pieces scratch your skin which damages it
I use sugar instead i tried that St Ives and found it very harsh which could do more damage to skin than helping it.
I use the off brand apricot scrub and it works for me
A bit too harsh for my skin, but may work well for others.
I love it, it's amazing!!! 😍
skindeep. com look it up
