Acne?

does my acne effect my looks a lot? someone just made fun of me and it made me sad lol. pics on profile. this is not for compliment fishing...and if it does look like a huge problem feel free to add tips for skincare. thanks

I used to have bad skin - not full fledged acne - just pimples in certain areas about two years ago.

And now my skin is practically flawless. I love it, I can't believe my skin wasn't like this just a few years ago.

My doctor prescribed a prescription topical solution called Clindamycin. I use it once a day, right before I go to bed. I just glide the tip of the solution over my forehead and T-zone. It cleared up my skin completely. It's all I use for my skin. I don't use a moisturizer or anything. That, and just my Olay makeup remove, which has nothing to do with skin conditioning.

You should ask your doctor about it, it's the most prescribed acne medication. And it works.

In the mean time, you could try using liquid concealer or foundation if your acne is severe, or a light-powder foundation if your acne is mild.

i think you're a cute girl even though you have acne...but if it really bothers you, try seeing a dermatologist, clearasil works just fine for me, but stuff like that can be sorta expensive so there are old skin care secrets I learned from a kick ass make up artist...i could email you the steps if you want them...& it actually works and you can find this stuff around your house so its cheap...

Its not that bad,

I had a friend whose face was filled with acne and though she was fair her face looked RED !

Thers this soap you get here called acne aid.

within 2 months acne almost completely disappeared .

alternatives for you would be applying sandalwood paste with rose water. its excellent.

It's not that bad, but it's not the clearest skin in the world either. You're still young so you'll grow out of it. If you are really concerned about it then go see a dermatologist or buy some wash or something. Sorry I can't help much with tips, I was lucky enough to never have acne.

I'm not gonna say it's not noticeable, but I think you look fine. Don't worry about it, everyone has acne at that age.

It isn't horrible. Proactive will clear it up. For now, a good foundation will cover it. Trust me, I've seen so much worse.

Really, it didn't work for you? Try a non-oil face cleanser to use every morning and night then, that might help.
