Advice on losing weight?

So wrestling season is coming up again and I am looking to go down a weight class. Basically I need to lose 6 pounds in a healthy way. I've tried running, I joined cross country and ran 6-8km 3-5 days a week and lost no weight >.< The only thing that worked so far was that during the summer I was bed ridden with the flu so I didn't eat and didn't get out of bed for a couple of weeks and combined with no exercising at all during the summer I went from 120 to 103... now I am back to 109... After losing 13 that was mainly muscle I was really out of shape... so any ideas as to how to lose weight?
