How can I get better at talking to guys?

I'm kind of an awkward person but once you get to know me I'm far from awkward, unless I do it on purpose. I'm not very social and I'm pretty shy. So when it comes to guys I'm completely invisible. If I happen to pass a cute guy I avoid eye contact or if I do look at them they don't even notice I'm there. I avoid them at all cost, thinking that they'll come to me... which they don't haha. It also doesn't help that I'm almost 5'9 and I'm not as skinny as all the other girls. I'm not fat, I've done sports my whole life so I'm muscular. I don't consider myself attractive but I've been told that I am. I'm never approached or even looked at so.. what should I do? What's my problem and how do I become less awkward? am I just unattractive and not worth the time?

The tip to talking to guys is practice. I used to be really awkward around girls, but now I'm much more confident because I practiced a bit. Find a guy that you aren't particularly attracted to, and strike up a conversation with him. If you've got a guy friend that you trust particularly well to play along, do a little roleplay and pretend that you're approaching him in a social gathering. Don't worry about whether you're attractive or unattractive. As long as you put a little effort in, there will be plenty of guys that are interested in you. After all, we're biologically programmed to be attracted to you!

Dont feel embarrased to keep eye contact with guys..we guys need that to get start a conversation with you..dont stare,mild glance inorder to let him know that you are interested..please dnt think you are unattractive..because guys are out there,who think you look like an angel..(im sure in that because I know some of my friends who tells me a girl is unattractive,where I felt that girl s one of the most attractive girl I ever met!)..attractive or not -leave that matter to us..if u've done sports- some guys search for only sports girls..be confident,friend..

Put yourself in the other person's shoes. What would you like from her or him?

A smile? A ``Hello?'' Forget that you're , ..., ..., or ... Focus on the other person.

This is one of the hardest things you'll ever have to do. This advice is not lightly given.
