I'm 70 pounds above my ideal weight, at 5"3 23 year olds and I can go 2 days without eating before I start to feel hungry. Right now I decided to lose weight by only eating when I'm hungry.

It's not healthy for you to skip meals, so you should not only eat when you're hungry, because if you do, your body will stay in "starvation mode," which means that it will continue to store fat. Use this simple formula to calculate how many calories you should have each day (minus exercise calories): Take the weight that you are at right now and multiply it by 8. This is the amount of calories you need to consume in a day's time in order to begin to lose weight. Add up your calories after each meal (you can find them online). If you do any exercise, subtract 4 calories per minute for low-impact exercise (such as walking at a regular pace, swimming, housework, gardening and any other low-impact exercise). If you have exercised for 1 hour, the calories you would subtract would be 240 calories from your daily total. At the end of the day, add up all of your calories and subtract all of the exercise calories. That is the total amount of calories you have put into your body. They should not exceed the limit of the amount of calories you calculated when you took your body weight multiplied by 8. There are books available that can help you with this. One website is link. I'm not diet expert, but I believe eating smaller portions, more often during a day is the key to losing weight. If you eat only large meals when you are hungry, your body retains more weight because it doesn't know when it's going to be given fuel/food again.

I'm sorry if I insulted you. I'm trying to find out how other people establish themselves in well paying careers early in life because I want to do the same thing. I like to approach successful people and ask them what made them a success. Just asking for advice on how I can also get a job as an administrator.
