Its mostly going to be how you eat.

If you can eat healthy, as well as do some form of weight training combined with cardio exercise, you will see a big improvement.

I suggest keeping a log of your calories and foods, at this site called www.sparkpeople.com. Its free, and really really helpful.

In general, stay away from saturated and trans fats, and eat healthy mono and polyunsaturated fats as well as lean meats. Make sure no less than 25 percent of your calories are coming from fat. If you eat too little of fat your body will store it rather than burn it.

Also, avoid sugary foods like sweets and desserts. Get your sugars from fruits, veggies, low fat yogurt and such.

As far as carbohydrates go, get them from whole grain rice, breads, and veggies,

Running works the fastest for losing weight. You can't target your love handles, but the weight will come off of everywhere soon enough.
