I think in SOME breakages the bone regrows stronger but with something like the compound fracture is it? Something like that would not return stronger due to the level of damage :/
I have had two knee cap injuries that resulted in crutches and afterwards my legs are great and fine, I have also broken my middle finger but that is back and healthy all working well.
I cracked my skull when I was young but that is fine too.
I damaged my ankle, not a severe breakage but still hospital worthy apparently :/
My point is, not every bone breakage will result in a stronger bone afterwards but some do result in a stronger bone after a significant amount of time, till then it is a very fragile area so... :/

I know there's some science with breaking your bones at microscopic levels so that when they repair, it's stronger.
To test this.. walk up to any experienced Thai boxer and kick his legs with your shin as hard as you can.
it depends what bones you break. sometimes they don’t heal well. That’s why so many athletes aren’t able to be “as good” as they were before their injury. The knees and elbows seem to be the worst areas.

Yes, its a fact. But only if you keep using it and training it do so.
