Would this be a good idea if I gave up on women?

Well me and my ex-girlfriend broke up after five years together and I was wanting to know if I should just give up on woman and live and die alone.

There's no need to make such a lasting decision right now. But what I can say is that you need time to process this and it will take time. And as you process it, don't be afraid to accept the FEELING that right now part of you wants to give up forever. I'm sure other parts of you feel otherwise. They are all part of the mix and they are all acceptable to feel. As you work through recovering, you'll hopefully make more sense of where the various parts fit in the mix.

Seems a little extreme, don't you think. Do what you want, but you just need to come down from the feelings of the breakup that are still fresh.
