No, not at all.
This is the problem with women's self-defense classes, they're usually taught by people who have never experienced real violence, have never had a real fight, and have no fucking idea what they're talking about.
This is dangerous because they convince women like you that what they're teaching is real, and that gives you a false sense of confidence.
To most people, domestic violence against women is a bigger issue than domestic violence against men. Why? Because even in cases where the violence is reciprocal, which it is in most cases, women come off worse because of the strength difference between men and women.
Now, do you think most women don't know that the balls are sensitive? Do you think that kicking or punching a guy in the balls is a secret and extremely powerful technique that only women who take self-defense classes know about? Of course not, that's ridiculous. Most women know that. It just doesn't work as well as the people in those classes tell you it does.
It hurts, sure. But if the man is angry and he's in attack mode, it's not going to stop him. If anything it's only going to make him more angry and will probably escalate the violence. This is why I think the things they teach you are dangerous.
As a woman, and this is probably true for everybody, self-defence is mostly about awareness. Street smarts. You see a guy who looks suspicious walking towards you, you avoid him. Cross the street or something, and if he comes towards you, run. You avoid situations where you might be vulnerable. It's late at night and you're walking home - there's a long way around where the streets are well-lit, and there's a short-cut through a dark alley - you go the long way.
I've seen some women say stupid things like they think that know they've learned self-defence they can walk through that dark alley because they think they could fuck the guy up - this is how those classes and this way of thinking puts them in danger. They miss the point. You should try to avoid violent situations at all costs, and self-defence should only be used as a last resort.
As a woman your best bet in beating a man, should you get into a situation where you need to defend yourself after all of the above has failed, is to use some kind of weapon, fight dirty, and be extremely violent. You have to do that to equalise it, you're probably not gonna beat a guy unarmed.

If both are equally trained and conditioned, your average man will kill a woman hand to hand, very easily.
Hit a guy in the balls is painful an all, but first you actually have to hit them being someone with on average 12kg of muscle more than you have, and far more stable hips. Do you honestly think you could get a guy in the balls before he can get you in your breasts?
The only thing women really have on their side is the fact men (and women) are biologically (on an innate instinctive level) programed to resist hitting women, on the same level as children. Studies show there is no biological instinct to resist hitting men.
That being said, women don't have a whole lot of testosterone in the system, and are actually proven to generally have a different response to fight of flight situations (with the original research on all of that only using male test subjects).
Generally women don't fight or flight, they tend and befriend. Which is just another way of saying they submit with... well, not even a punch, a mere slap.
So no, not in the real world.
In a girl power feminist fantasy? Sure, whatever.
N... No. Have you ever fought a man?
Women have to be very strategic in our fighting. We fight different than men.
Redirection, using an attackers strength against them, luring, etc.
A man with enough rage or training either won't let you hit their balls or they'll ignore it.
Pain doesn't always stop an attacker.
When you're training, have any of the men - the bigger, stronger ones - full on attacked you with intent?
I've had mine do that for me and my sensei and it's an entirely different fight.
The balls are just one target - one most men are instinctively protective of. An average joe is gonna do everything he can to protect his jewels - but also everything he can not to let you get away.
Joints are surprisingly effective. Wrists, fingers, knees, elbows.
Don't let yourself think "ball tap and done". You're gonna get yourself killed with that false sense of security.
What're you gonna do if you can't hit his balls?
What universe are you living in? If a strong man hits me just once I’m going down and staying down. Even if I’m not knocked out I’m going to stay down to avoid getting beat up some more. Men are typically bigger than us, stronger than us, and have a longer reach than us. A woman with fighting training could probably take down a with no fighting experience at all, but if both the man and woman are equally matched in training then I think the guy would win. I think your three weeks of self defense classes have made you a bit overconfident.

Well, unfortunately women's self-defense courses can give women a very unrealistic idea of how easy it is to fight off a male attacker.
In real life, your opponent doesn't hold still and let you do whatever you want, so if your kick to the balls happens to miss, or even if it lands and he toughs through it, the very next thing that will happen is that he will knock you off your feet and land on top of you and beat your brains out.
There are still things you can do, such as eye-gouging, and it's better to have a plan than not to have one, but you should remember the age-old adage, "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face."
If you want to test your combat skills against men, it will be hard to find a man who is willing to fight you for real without holding back, but a good kick to the balls is a pretty convincing argument that he should treat you like a worthy adversary. The real truth of the matter is that a lifetime of training and practice will allow a very select few genetically gifted women to be almost as dangerous in hand-to-hand combat as the average untrained, unskilled man.
And if you don't believe me, feel free to experiment and see for yourself. But don't blame me for what happens. One punch from a man can change your life forever, so it might not be worth risking your neck getting broken or your skull cracked just to prove a silly point that even YOU don't really believe.Women have no advantage in hand to hand combat in fact they have every disadvantage, speed, strength, endurance women are in general inferior in all those areas to men. Not to mention men have a longer reach usually as well.
As for your self defense course they're filling you head with BS that's only going to lead to you getting hurt or worse.
The balls aren't as much of a weakness as you think for one not every guy is going to go down with a single kick in the balls, adrenaline and pain tolerance do wonders for staying in a fight. Also any competently trained fighter can block kicks to the groin fairly easily it's not difficult to do and there are a multitude of stances you can take in combat that actually negate that advantage altogether.
Wanna know how my first fight with a female opponent went? She was the same size, build and weight as me, she tried to punch me and I blocked it and struck her in the stomach and knocked her out cold, instantly with a single punch to the gut, the whole fight was over in about 20 seconds.
My second fight with a woman was during a championship it was me a white belt vs a girl who was a brown or black belt so she had a overwhelming advantage in terms of experience and training but despite that advantage I still fought on par with her for the entire fight.
So no women aren't always gonna win in hand to hand combat, unless you someone like Gina Carano who's unnaturally strong for a woman and incredibly experienced, well trained and skilled at hand to hand combat, don't attempt to fight a man. What's funny about this question is that if someone would've asked, "Aren't men naturally better fighters than women?", people would've immediately responded with reactions such as:
1. This isn't the 1950s.
2. You're sexist.
3. Women are fierce and strong.
But because the question has been asked the other way, people are engaging in discussion without creating commotion. What does it say about how people think? Clearly gender discrimination works both ways, but looks like people find it easy to ignore if it's being done in favor of women, or against men, or both.
As for the answer to this question, it's an obvious no. Not because "men are strong", or "dem triceps tho" or whatever, but because gender has absolutely nothing to do with combat skills or reflexes. You can try to fight a rhino, but you'll get crushed before you can convince it that you can beat it just because you're a "man" or a "woman". If gender ever really was that important, society wouldn't have been debating such puny stuff right now, and would've been progressing at a way higher pace.Men know that women will try to kick them there and they're prepared. IF AND ONLY IF you're able to kick them there hard enough to stop them from moving, you'll win. Otherwise, most of the time you'll lose the fight.
There was a woman boxer in my country that got invited to a show. She punched a boxing bag and the device measured the force of her punch. Everyone on the show thought it was a powerful punch until an old singer (male) punched the pinching bag and got way higher score.
The difference in physical strength is way beyond what you believe. If the guy is not really weak, he might be able to take a kick from you and still be able to fight. Or block your kick before it happens.No. Maybe if a guy is not expecting anything but you have to get close to hit a guy in the balls and by that time a guy who can fight would have already knocked you out with a punch. If you have a guy who's very dumb and just relies on his size and strength you might have a shot but there's also very smart and strategic fighters that would never give you a chance. Just watch some MMA. No woman could compete with male MMA fighters that's why they have separate categories. Of course a female MMA fighter would take down most untrained men but that's not really a fair comparison XD.

Here you can see some of the strategy involved in fighting and how they manage the distance between themselves and the oponent at all times. So just going for the balls is not a strategy that will work on anyone and you could also miss or be blocked.Overall no , girls / women can be technically better , especially with kicks , my daughter can kick fast and hard for her size... however I mention size , the average woman is at a disadvantage in this area , along with strength , which often negates skill. A man will instinctively protect the " crown jewels " , esp if confronted by an aggressive woman , ( yes women are often violent too ) as he knows she will always target the testes , but your chances of hitting the target are slim , the last woman that tried that on me... out of spite by the way , had me catch her kicking leg , I did not hit her , or even kick away the supporting leg , which I would have done very hard if the attempted attacker was male.. with further savage counters ... but did humiliate her for a brief period , hopefully that taught her not to be so nasty and aggressive !!
No not by a long shot. Men are on average bigger stronger and heavier than women, plus they have more testosterone which fuels physical confrontation by causing aggression. It's also worth noting that if your plan while going up against a dude in a fight is "just kick him in the balls", get a new plan. Dudes do in fact have that weakness, so we will naturally expect you to aim there and we'll be ready to block your kick at any point. Now tell me, what did your instructor tell you to do when the dude you tried to kick has caught your foot before it reached his balls and is now more enraged because you just tried to kick him? What, realistically can you do? The answer is "whatever he wants you to do". Do not. I repeat. DO NOT rely on nut shots for self defense. That's a good way to get your ass beat and raped (if it's that kind of situation to begin with).
“I’ve fought a lot of women and have never felt the strength that I felt in a fight as I did that night. I can’t answer whether it’s because she was born a man or not because I’m not a doctor. I can only say, I’ve never felt so overpowered ever in my life and I am an abnormally strong female in my own right… I still disagree with Fox fighting. Any other job or career I say have a go at it, but when it comes to a combat sport I think it just isn’t fair.” – Tamika Brents
From a Female MMA fighter who fought with transgender woman (men). Got her scull fractured.
Top tip chose your fights, iof he wants to beat you up run, as fast as you can but run.No. If the balls were the only anatomical difference in vulnerability, men would still have the advantage because they’re just so much stronger and faster. However, as someone who has taken her fair share of hits to the groin, I can tell you that it would drop you like it would drop any man. There’s also the additional concern of breasts that men don’t have to worry about. I think it hurts men more because they have literal organs hanging between their legs, but I’ve never seen a man go down from a ball kick and I’ve never seen a woman stay standing after taking a groin kick so there’s something to be said for that. Men are actually so much more athletic that it’s hard for a trained woman to surpass an average man in terms of fighting. That being said, you should absolutely target the groin, eyes, nose, throat, etc if you’re fighting a man or larger woman because it will increase your chances of survival.
No. Men are stronger on average so it means more damaging blows. Men are also taller on average which also gives them extra reach. Besides, there are many ways to avoid being hit in the balls. Further more, women also have eyes, a throat and plenty of other weakpoints men have too. The fact that women are lighter and have less strength on average also means that their guard will be weaker.
By the way, I have around 3 years of experience with Krav Maga and I'm really interested in a lot of things around martial arts and combat in general. I'm no expert, but I'm no newbie either.Better fighters? Physically right?
No. They are better spies though. The woman can be equally or can even surpass men but not in physical strength or hand to hand fighting.
If the man is muscular, built and has really good skills, the woman will eventually be defeated. If the woman has good skills as well then the result may be delayed but in my opinion they will eventually be defeated.I think you will find that strength and reach will ruin you.
There was a post back along about a transexual M2F MMA fighter who destroyed 'her' opponent.
So, short answer, no.
If you dont want your face smashed in you should probably lose the chip on your shoulder before you suffer a correction that isn't text based. This is probably written by a guy with a ballbusting fetish
While true, aren't there techniques in which a man can protect himself from being hit in the groin? He can wear something there so that it wouldn't hurt if necessary. It's not like all men are going to be walking around with it on.
And no, I would have to disagree. Even with that weak spot, if men know how to protect that area, they could still take a woman down. The fact that men have one particular weak spot doesn't mean their female adversaries are "better fighters". There's *potential* injury and *actual* injury, and in real life scenarios they are often not the same thing. Not to say women can't kick ass, but there's a reason why the UFC puts men and women in different categories-- in a pound for pound matchup, an elite male fighter will cream an elite female fighter 9/10 times
"Better" is a question of skill level, so no; gender assignment wouldn't have any effect on your skill level. As for vulnerability and effectiveness; women are smaller in stature and have weak spots too. Being able to hit a guy in the crotch is probably easier said than done for women during a street fight.
There is only one way to know for sure. Go try it out on some big ugly sob and hope he doesn’t know what he is doing and is caught off guard because you are a woman. Just make sure you take him out with one shot because you might just piss him off and then all that self defense bull$hit without real street fighting experience is worthless.
I've only kicked a guy in the balls once. He backed the fuck off for sure, but he didn't keel over and pass out like in the movies. You're best bet against a bigger stronger opponent is a weapon, not groin shots.
Bullshit...
I worked as a bouncer for a few years ago, and had to deal with a lot of "crazy" girls. Big and small.
I have had my balls kicked a few times when trying to get control off girls that don't want to leave or fight others.
It hurts for real, and I wanted to vomit, but it didn't stop me of gaining control of the girl and the situation.
The worst part of having to handle a crazy girl is all the horny men that wanted to "help" the girl. You should be but no unlike most animals were different were the gender who doesn’t give birth is stronger.
Men are faster and stronger and we’ve had centuries of hunting fighting in wars etc built into our DNA whereas women well picked berries helped make ammunition etc. Very few women did a mans job. So realistically no you don’t even need to believe me just do a sparring match and let physics speak for itself.
