ended up getting addicted to it. just to fit in.

But hasn't had many relationships, and is also a virgin.

I used to know some guys like this. You should probably talk to him and explain that he shouldn/t have to do all that just to fit in or get accepted. True friends should like him for who he is and not for what he does to feel accepted. He obviously feels insecure about himself is he's stooping so low to do all of that. I'd set him straight in a civilized way and try teaching him to be himself and not care about what others think of him or what he does. You could help him and change his ways for the better, that is if he's willing to change for you.

I understand. What should I do? He's unavoidable in one of my classes with him, considering we sit right next to each other. Even on days I try to ignore him he taps me on the shoulder, etc.
