They don't really have much pressure to stay thin, but they get a lot of pressure to have a six back and huge muscles. So it is a bit similar.
Its our society in America that bombards women in to thinking thst they have to look a certain way.
Commercials for weight loss and losing weight make us believe that
I've never 'pressured' any girl about her weight but have answered truthfully when they asked my opinion.
I blame the media telling women they have be skinny. If I was a women, I am sure there would be pressure from family and friends to look good and stay in shape. As a guy I don't need to have a six pack but want to keep on shape and be overweight.
Women put that pressure on themselves. Men do too, but mostly, women do it to themselves.
I agree. I have an eating disorder that I fully know is only because of the pressure I am putting on myself. Everyone else compliments my body and guys love my body when I’m intimate, but for some reason for me it isn’t good enough and my opinion is all that matters
Stop pressurising yourself then.
Most of us men just don't care so we don't really pressurise ourselves to get them abs and shit to attract whamen.
We do it when we fell like it, so no pressure indeed
Because men are pressured to be tall, successful and confident. All of which are much harder criteria to be met.
Nobody is forcing anybody it's all because of mass media, idols & shit, Few centuries ago nobody cared about zero figure as of they do now & same goes for men too
Look at photos and videos of men and women in the 1930s and 1940s. That is how men should look. In those days we didn't have processed foods with preservatives and junk in it that is bad for our bodies. Plus our meat sources then such as cows and chickens then weren't force fed things to make them fatter quicker.
The feeling that we have to look better because of society causes so much competition that makes us think we need to look better to be successful and included
Tbh, society seems to want me to gain so much weight.
I think many men feel pressure to stay healthy looking/fit
Its something you women bring upon yourselves. I find the most super slim women to be superficial. I like the ones that are a bit chubby personally. They are much more loyal and compassionate towards other people.
Because men make the money and women make the babies.
I am from the future and my nipples are so tender!
"for HEALTH reasons." This is never true. You cannot separate out the social conditioning you live with. What is defined as health is intertwined with social beauty standards.

It depends on you I've been born skinny and I have a very fast matabolism so I'm okay with being my size it's a very simple trick anybody can do it it's called don't give a donkey ass of what anybody wants you look the way you want to don't let anybody tell you you need to be thin you do you you live your life
I’m not sure that’s true anymore. Certainly I, and everyone I know, don’t like skinny women. My daughter has a bit of a thing about her weight, and had bulimia for a while. She’s still very thin.
because you're the ones comparing yourselves with instagram sluts.
Social media and competition I guess... I like my thick thighs and having curves 🤷🏽♀️
I don't know, personally I prefer to stay fit, work out and eat healthy and I would like that my partner to does the same
Kindly remove your head from your ass if you're gonna talk about the real world.
No need to be rude?
Lol that icon. Such a winner.
Feminazi oxygen-wasting filth. Head still up ass.
Imagine getting that triggered over feminists just existing, go get a life and a job while you’re at it ❤️
Your projection is painfully obvious. Please do not try again.
Somehow you can’t even make one sentence make actual sense
Yea its annoying. But society is too judgmental. You could be so skinny and they'll still call you fatter than someone else
Because of standards set in the past, pressure your men to eat healthier, they need to be healthy too
you shouldn't have any pressure be happy just by being yourself if people dont like it tell them to "KISS YOUR ASS" and say im proud of me !
Magazines, TV and other women put those pressures. Men are good with many varieties of women.
The most attractive part of a woman is her confidence.
I’m thinking that’s just you... or where you live...
Society does place higher expectations on women when it comes to beauty standards.
Have you seen the beauty standards? They definitely put a pedestal ok female beauty. Every country has a different beauty standard and beauty standards vary from person to person but for specifically cultural beauty standards most of the time they’re unrealistic and force women to go to unhealthy extremes just to try and reach that standard of beauty. Just look at the corset trend that’s been coming back, corsets literally suppress your organs yet women still wear them in order to have that hourglass figure
Agreed, it's terrible.
Because as long as you're rich, who gives a fuck amirite
The pressure for women to look really thin is not even hot. I honestly don't know why women obsess over it. Women are supposed to have a higher body fat percentage than men. Societal pressure to be underweight is just not good.
If it helps i lost 20lbs bc my ex thought i was fat... it's not just girls. You do you, you're best as you are.
Well, women feel pressured to stay thin and men are expected to have a big penis. Same Same but different
Its nothing wrong with takin care of your body but at the same time you live in a limited body so excersing is good but the downside when you die it won't be useful nomo🤷🏾♂️
It's likely the reason women live longer on average.
Most women usually put that pressure on urselves, men however we tend to only do it when it suits us
They are. But I get it but dw men if they are ugly never even get 1 remotely good looking girl ever. Some do but the other 95% get nothing or some ugly girl.
I think the pressure is placed on me by me cause I always wanna feel and be sexy
Our market value is based on utility. As long as we are strong and hace a job there will be a woman for us to sleep with.
I agree it's not good. It's just societal standards and norms that has been placed into our head. The size 0 thing is clearly beyond ridiculous
Yet we're supposed to be 6'4" and have muscles up the wazoo
Huge muscles are a turn off
maybe to you, but lots of women love it
women put on the Pressure... I have NEVER heard a man tell a woman she was Overweight... NEVER
Um...
Not exactly
Many men have so much pressure to stay healthy , fit
Men are pressured to have broad shoulders, visible abs and a general muscular body instead
I think it’s society and in Hollywood women often look at they have and that look they want.
Yeah right like you girls don't want us guys to all look like Hanes underwear mo
Ideal, but, I like thin, muscles to chubby.
Just like ideally men like play boy type girls.
So that whole body positivity movement telling women it’s okay to be fat doesn’t exist?
Thats such a joke movement that makes us chubby women look shitty
It still exists though. The point being that men don't have a body positivity movement. They obviously have all sorts of pressures on them, including appearance.
Just gender roles. Hey look at it rhis way. You live in an age where if you don't like the roles you can now change gender. Lol
You act like men aren't pressured to be certain things as well lol
I believe it’s what we see in Hollywood, musician it what sells. Plus our mom’s.
Because being slender is attractive on women, not men. For men it is about being muscular.
Because all the men think that their girlfriend or wives should be fit and fine
god you're full of shit
tf, not all of them do
Well what about the ones trying to have huge ass and tits they both mad. But it's the same for guys thou
Would you rather a skinny guy who can’t protect you or a more stocky guy who can (not necessarily fat).
It's what the other sex value in mate selection.
Men feel the same pressure to stay employed.
At least you can control weight but women never want to date short guys , put light on that...
I've dated short
The pressure to stay then whereas men have the pressure to do everything else lol
Thin
Men get judged for their looks too. We just don't care. Perhaps women can learn that from men.
Seems odd you even ask considering fat women get men a lot easier then fat men idiot.
A lot of men are insecure about their bodies too
I feel like its a pressure on both men and women
Because women associate losing weight with beauty.
Pfff you don't talk to a lot of men do you? 🤣
