What do you think of the body “positivity” movement? I watched a video earlier skinny shaming any woman under 140, and I’m 127 and 5’8”. Any thoughts?

I just want to say the body image positivity movement is so obnoxious and hypocritical. I hate how morbidly obese women are rewarded for their lifestyle, which is completely unhealthy, but thin women are treated like they have eating disorders. I’m laughed at by other people when I eat McDonalds and they say things like “wow! All of that for just YOU?” I’m sure they’re coming from a nice place, but I feel like skinny women are treated like we are little teenage girls, etc. even if within healthy weight bounds. I work out every day and do Pilates, take amazing care of myself. We gave so much sh! t to the modeling industry for making women pressure themselves into eating disorders, but on the contrary, now we aren’t saying anything about people who are overweight and living poorly?
disclaimer: I would never treat someone less than for their body. I myself went through a weight loss journey so I understand the sensitivities surrounding it. We should still treat everyone with respect, as we are all human and deserve it.
Also, on another note, since I sort of used “people” and “women” a bit interchangeably up there, notice how there is no body positivity movement for men? We need change. This is ridiculous.
