How come in the middle of whatever im eating I often think"this isn't gonna satisfy my hunger"?

I take a fiber pill with my food and it's slowed that kind of thinking WAAAAAY down. More protein helps too. Both will make you feel fuller longer.
If you're eating salads, junk food which is basically any simple carbs, or eating fruit though, you're going to be hungry all the time.
On top of that ripe fruit signals to the body to fatten up for the winter... just like with most animals in nature. To make it worse we've modified them to have even more fructose to be sweeter... basically even more carbs. All in all, it just adds up to being more calories. Sugars make people more hungry as well, which is exactly why McDonald's makes the food salty, so you'll be thirsty, and drink more soda... which means more food is craved... a cycle most people have no idea is going on.
Low glycemic index carbs usually come packed with fiber (like oats) and don't spike glucose levels and meat... best choice. As far as fruits... look for natural more bitter-tasting fruits that haven't been modified. It might sound like it sucks at first, but the taste for sweetness intensifies once not being exposed to extreme sweets. Basically, a bowl of oatmeal with nothing in it will start to taste like candy... so does meat.
If you make your body acidic by mixing coffee with fruit juice, or if you make it alkaline by eating alkaline foods, your hunger will go away.
