So I was recently diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia and the doctor had told me to take two pills a day. Although I’m confused because the bottle it came in says to take one pill a day in which I told her the bottle says to take one a day and she still said to take two. The bottle says it’s 325 mg and currently since I’ve been a bit worried since taking them I’ve been looking things up since things are now especially feeling worse due to being on my period. And now I just found out about this thing called iron poisoning and I’m afraid of getting that. I’m just nervous that maybe two pills is too much since the dose is 325 mg and she says to take two a day. Should I listen to my doctor and continue to take two? What are some good ways to cope with iron deficiency anemia? I appreciate any and all advice.
Taking two pills a day isn't going to give you iron poisoning. The doctor has recommended you take two pills a day because the level of iron on your blood is abnormally low, in which case you're in no danger of iron poisoning. I would hope your doctor will review the dose over time.

If you're having bowel problems, yes, it could be too much iron. iron, which is found in green vegetables and red meat, trust me, i know... is VERY hard to digest, but we still need it because it prevents anemic activity, trust me, i know

Iron deficiency can be linked to vitamin C deficiency, low stomach acid, poor digestion or other nutritional imbalances. The iron tablets the Doctors give... go look at the ingredients, they are full of junk. I've known people that took a natural iron supplement that only had 18 mg in it (NaturesPlus Source of Life Garden Iron) and their iron levels increased. You will not find health at the Doctors, they are drug dealers. They are good for physical problems though.
