If your teenager had schizophrenia would you put them in a mental facility?

If that were the best thing to do after talking to professionals, I would consider it.

If there was even the slightest chance of working with it, I would keep them with me and probably see they would be happiest with that too.

If I were to send them to a facility, I would visit often to show that I care about them and would never just abandon them.

I wouldn't wish that on anybody I've been in those myself and they are not fun just take her in the middle of the woods and take her off all her medication and just let her run free it's evolution it has nothing to do with anything but evolution

Depends. Is it treatable, how severe it is and if they are willing to treat it. If they refuse the medication, I probably would.

Probably. I can't afford the medication and therapy for that, nor do I have the temperament for raising them

If they are refusing meds and it gets really bad sure would.
