I also need to know if I should take my multivitamin on the water fast...
THANKS
Water fast is very dangerous because while you are giving yourself water you're loosing electrolytes and no amount of multivitimins will make up for those.
If you want to go on a liquid diet to flush out your body, cleanse your energy that kind of stuff then I would suggest... is it called the lemonade diet? Or something like that. It's water with lemons and vinegar and some other stuff (I believe). That will not only keep you hydrated but make sure you're getting all the salts and sugars you need to survive.
However before you do any of this you NEED to talk to your doctor. Don't talk to us here, I highly doubt many people here (if any) are doctors, and even if they are they don't have your files. Go to your primary physician, talk to her about what's going on and why you want to go on the diet and what you want to do and she can help you work out a plan.
It's extremely dangerous to try anything like this with out your doctor's help. And since it's your first time you should at least call her once a week or so to make sure you're still healthy and on the right track.
My point is straight water is a big no-no, you need some kind of sugars/salts to keep your body functioning, ESPECIALLY in the summer.
So my final answer- go to your doctor and talk with him about it then work out a plan from there.
I agree with zombiefood if you get your electrolytes out of whack you will literally cause your heart to seize and fail. It can happen from drinking too much or having too little.

I did a 30 hour famine once in high school to raise money for World Vision, but that's about it. How long is this diet of yours going to last?
