Getting pregnant is not an exact science. It took my then-wife and me several months before she got pregnant. Everything has to come together to get pregnant... viable sperm has to make that long swim, find an egg to fertilize, and the egg has to implant itself in the uterine wall. That's very random, and nature likes it that way.
