I know everyone probably complains about this but, when will my acne go away? Does anyone else feel the same?

I've had acne for almost 9 years of my life now and I think its ridiculous. I have been to dermatologists, regular doctors, and tried just about everything on the market. My acne has always been mild to medium so no doctor will take me seriously since I don't have severe acne.

Right now I am using benzaclin (which I have been using for years even though it doesn't work that great) and just started to take a new type of birth control called loestrin 24 instead of tri-sprintec.

I know my acne has never been severe but there have been so many tears and wanting to just feel good in my own skin and not having to spend so much money on makeup and skin products.

Will this ever get better? Anyone have any advice?

There are a lot of DIY facial masks that you can look up so you wouldn't hav to spend more since your alrdy paying for other skin products.

If you have sensitive, dry skin I recommend just the simple face mask that's made out of oatmeal, yogurt, and honey. (forgot measurements) The oatmeal serves as a gentle exfoliator and helps restore moisture in your skin, the yogurt soothes, softens, and tightens the skin& refines the pores, and the honey nourishes the dry skin.

There's also the aspirin mask that dries out problem breakouts on the spot but it can be too harsh on ppl's skin. :(

I wanted to share a lot more but I totally forgot everything haha. So Ima just repeat the basic stuff about how eating right, exercising, and just knowing what the right products are to use on your skin would help.

I am also verryy self conscience about my skin, and although I don't have bad acne, I have like HUGE pores and I hate it. What I am doing currently is just cleaning my face every morning and then use a blemish toner or cream, then a hydration lotion. Then at night I clean my face again, and use a cream over all the places that are prone to breaking out. It's probably a good idea to use more lotion because it can really dry your skin out using a lot of acne creams. So far I have noticed a pretty big difference on my skin(:

i'm chinese , it's rarely find someone people have strong acnes. maybe it's about diet , you need more vegetable than meat .

i never have acne , compared to peers' skin ,my skin is more white and smooth , usually I use towel to polish my face , it seems a massage to my face .

don't use chemical makeup .

I had mild to medium acne as well and I didn't use anything to treat it but it went away. I always used to get more acne during football season so without playing football it has gone down. I will say that those acne creams do work and I've seen people really improve their acne from it.

I feel you girl! I wish I had naturally perfect skin and didn't have to wear makeup ever again! My skin isn't perfect but it's been way better since I started using Proactive. I was sceptical at first, but it actually worked for me :) and I use a birth control pill called CyEstra.

i never had much of a problem with acne, the only time I do is when I shave too close, and get ingrown hairs or if I eat a sh*t load of little debbie oatmeal cream pies... I think it's the tons of sugar/grease in them

I have never had acne, but my best friend had a lot and she used this cream called Avenue or something like that and they all went away :) good luck

I am also an acne sufferer (still looking for ways everyday), and I've found a lot of great help on there.

The acne on my face went away I as grew older, but I still have a lot on my back. I never used any kind of product to make it go away, so I don't really know.

It could be a result from stress, and also your diet. Try eating more fresh fruits and vegetables.

Yeah and it is absolutely frustrating to deal with. I try lots of things but not much has really worked :(
