What is your biggest insecurity?

Let's get deep.

Mine is my mouth/jaw/teeth area. I have an under bite so my bottom teeth sit Infront of my upper teeth, minus two teeth which grew in over my baby teeth. I'm planning this year to start the process of fixing everything, it's going to cost a lot of money but gotta start somewhere. First step will probably be getting my wisdom teeth removed and then braces/Invisalign, I'm thinking of seeing if I can just get it for the top if that would be cheaper since my bottom teeth are straight already.

What's your biggest insecurity? Is it something you can work towards fixing?

Hope everything goes smooth for you. I have fixed my teeth about 22 years ago, it was not effecting me to be insecure. 2 things made me feel insecure are Monorchism and hair loss that started when i was 17. But all of these are a phase things where i overcome and move on because it's not as bad as i thought. I am bald! Still got married and the wife adores me. The Monorchism got by very fast when things started happening in the bedroom 🤷‍♂️. Now! I barley have any, i want more income though 😁.

Well i just figured out recently that my 'attachment style' is anxious. im the type where when i feel like someone im dating or in a relationship pulls away i tend to get super anxious about it. i start texting them more than i should and begin to ask them questions to myself like 'they had all this free time to spend time with me and they didn't bother to text me.' and well it causes me to just react to my anxiety and not be my true authentic self. so its definitely something i gotta work on now.

When people ghost me it really friggin hurts me more than people in other attachment styles. That may be my biggest insecurity now is fearing people ghosting me after getting to know them well.

I'll be writing a mytake on attachments styles. this stuff blew my mind when i first heard and researched it a couple months ago.

Physically, my weight, my spider veins & my smile. I’ve always had issues with my weight that people have pointed out, resulting in me being insecure. My spider veins started showing last year and I know I’m the only one who notices them but I don’t like them. And I had really horrible teeth as a kid, I got bullied for it a lot, I did get braces and my teeth are good now but I still hate showing my teeth when I smile.

My stomach is my current biggest physical insecurity. I can fix it, but it will take time. I'm very busy, so it will take longer than I'd want. I have more mental insecurities than physical.

Mid section. I know I've joked about having a dad bod. But the joking part is to keep myself from being insecure. Trying to get rid of it is hard. Especially when you have no help with being a care giver with a normal job. The stress of it also keeps the weight on then adds.

With that off my chest. Insecure about mid section. Then that can add to a lot of everything else about body image.

When I was younger I would worry about things I couldn't fix. Letting go of such things was the best thing I could do, the only thing I could do before it would have turned into a bigger issue. Acceptance in yourself goes a long way.

Physically it's my weight. But I control that and can fix that.

I don’t drive, if I ever go to a job application or on a date and if it comes up. I got to explain it.. I usually just say I don’t have a car which is true and then some

It is not right for you to determine the method of self-treatment. Your doctor will determine the best method.

If your dentist recommends this, then I can say that it is the right method. However, dental treatments are a very difficult process. If there is bad appearance, do you need to endure hardships to fix it? so can't you stay like this?

Like the question says, its my biggest insecurity. It effects my life on a day to day basis, my appearance, my speech, the deteriorating of my gums, any time I sneeze I wack my teeth together, and most of all my confidence.
