I want to do a 45 minute hiit workout but can only manage 20 minutes at the moment. If I do another 20 minutes about 4 hours later would I still get the same benefits?
You are doing that oddly but depends on your state of health. I do 45 sec elliptical sprint rest for a minute30. I increase 15 seconds exert and rest in 20-25 minutes sessions every other morning. It does not kill muscles and joints this way.
As long as you simple row, ride bike, or swim in the off days and clean house, weed, grass, etc at home, and drop fake carbs, sugars, and fats then you will both lose and maintain well.

yeah actually it'll be more beneficial because you're giving your body time to recooperate and you'll be able to put that same energy back into the workout as you did the first time. it's how i weight train i don't do it all at once i split it up and wait until my body recooperates that way i maximize my body and workout to it's fullest potential
