I've been working out for 3 weeks now without sore muscles but did bulgarian squats & now very sore is that normal?

I did cardio and light weights for 3 weeks now and no longer was sore as I was using the muscles consistently

However upon doing bulgarian squats and curtsy lunges I am now very sore is that normal?
