not all women get periods and not all people who get periods are women, stay mad about it

I dont get periods , however if I did I'd use tampons , BUT -- here in Asia , about 90% of the market is pads , women just don't use tampons , I remember showing this Phillipines girl how to use more than 20 years ago ( she'd only ever used pads ) , then sadly we forgot the pack , as I didn't remember to tell her you needed to change it , we were on a boat trip.

I've often tried to think of ways to crack the market , but the companies with the pads all do both anyhow , its quite amazing , I don't know anyone in Australia who uses pads , except maybe someone far older who is still bleeding , or post menopausal bleeding.

My late mom and sister (alive) always used pads at home, and I'm sure my niece does in fact use pads because my sister would make sure she does so.

@gothbxtch Thank you, I just wish my mom would have often gone to see a gynecologist because I believe that's what she passed away to uterus cancer, kidney cancer, but I'm not too sure

I strictly use pads. I feel like I'm in the minority with that, because everyone else seems to use the cup or tampons. I started out using tampons, changed them accordingly, but my flow was too heavy, and tampons seemed to be more messy for me, so I had to supplement tampon usage with pads because I'd leak all the time. One day I decided to just switch strictly to pads. I get the Always brand, overnights - rarely mess up any underwear, and I wear skirts and dresses to "cover up" the fact that I'm wearing a pad. Been doing that for years now.

@EmmaMary A: I read the instructions and 2: my ex-fiance used to let me change hers for her sometimes and it's VERY simple! The whole process only takes a few seconds! Unwrap the tampon, use two fingers on one hand to open the lips, slide the tampon into the hole aiming for the small of the back, once the bigger tube is almost all the way in, hold onto it with thumb and second finger, push the smaller tube into it with the index finger, release the index and then pull out the big tube. You're done!
With O. B.'s, there's no tubes to futz with! Unwrap it, open the lips, put it in and just push it in about as far as your finger will go.
I also teach this in a college course.
