It's generally not recommended to consume large amounts of red meat, as it can be high in saturated fats and cholesterol. Eating a diet that's high in animal proteins, such as red meat, can increase your risk for cardiovascular disease and other health problems. However, if you're trying to build muscle mass, it may be beneficial to include a healthy balance of meat and other protein-rich foods in your diet. Overall, it's best to focus on a well-rounded, nutritious diet and to limit red meat to a couple of times per week at most.
All red meat is not the same. I only eat 96/4 ground. That's very different from the 70/30 and 60/40 they serve up at diners. Steaks are only grass fed free range and are from the list of 5 leanest cuts. That's going to beat out full fat ground turkey any day of the week.
I keep my daily sat fat at or below 10grams and my cardiologist loves my numbers every time I have blood work done. However you are getting your meals, if you're staying under that then you're going to do quite well.
i not dietitian but for muscle building i would do same. 5 per week, 200 gram each time, besides milk and yogurt breakfast.

How dangerous it is depends on the individual & their susceptibilities. For instance, if someone already has issues with saturated fat, cholesterol, iron, & maybe even a vulnerability to a disease that could form because of the possible carcinogens (from high temperature grilling or frying to get those burnt spots), then they'd probably benefit from not eating so much of it. But if someone doesn't, then they don't have to worry about it.
If you are trying to build muscle and want to overload on protein, red meat is a good source of protein. You should not plan on eating that much red meat in the long term.
It hasn't hurt me at all, and that was how I was raised.
If you’re training hard to put on muscle I’d say that’s a good minimum.
That’s probably a little bit too much
3 days?
Yeah that’s a good shout. Is it because of red meat causes high cholesterol?
Meat causes cancer.
