It's actually not that much more than normal, and most people I would consider to be dehydrated, or at least underhydrated. I drink a decent amount of water daily, and I probably need to pee once every couple of hours. But if I peed twice in 2-3 hours, I wouldn't think anything of it. 10 times in 16 hours awake seems fairly reasonable, or just a little on the high side.

In the hospital, we want our patients to produce at least 35 mL of urine/hour or it raises red flags.

Yup. I take a blood pressure pill every morning that contains a diuretic. Then I drink about 3/4 of a liter of water with a health powder mixed in. Then I make 24 oz of coffee and spend a few hours sipping that.
The diuretic and coffee make me pee like crazy for more than half a day. I have maybe a cup of whole milk. I also drink at least a liter of my well water from afternoon to evening and quit a couple hours before going to bed.

So between peeing as soon as I get up in the morning and right before I go to bed, I must go at least 15 times a day. LOL

Hell, I've been on water pills for about 10 years and I doubt I pee more than 8 times a day! I took one 6 hours ago and have only gone 4 times since then.

I get frequent UTIs and sometimes I have to drink a lot of water so it makes me pee a lot.
