For sleep paralysis, you are more likely to experience it if sleeping on your back, stressed, sleep deprived, and if your lights are on. That is what increases it for me.
That is why I try to eliminate all of those factors to decrease my chances of experiencing it, since they're high. Everyone is different when it comes to that.
I get sleep paralysis and have had out of body experiences when I mix mushrooms with meditation.
