Allergic to detergent?

Whenever I sweat or I get nervous the parts of my body covered by my clothes become super super itchy. It only occurs where the clothes are. Plus my face has these tiny bumps on the skin (not acne) and it feels dry and itchy even though I have a pretty oily skin tone. I've also got a case of acne on back plus a lot of redness (not from acne because the redness is everywhere on my upper back) and sometimes itchiness.

There are a few possibilities:

1) You are having eczyma

2) You are having rashes

3) Either all, you are definitely allergic to something

What are you possibly allergic to:

1) clothes that are not made of cotton (the material of the cotton)

2) you washing detergent

3) food

4) change in weather

5) dust

6) humidity

7) a combination of a few choices

Try checking out what you are eating and whether you have reaction to it, and change your detergent and your bed sheets. meanwhile ask a dermatologist if you can, or if the condition persists, take antihistamine (it doesn't have side effect).

i had an allergic reaction to detergent once... find something mild to use... it's very much possible, switch it up, see if the irritation goes away.

That's fairly common and yes you are allergic to your detergent.

Most doctors would tell you to switch it up. I don't know if the detergent is causing acne on the back, maybe you should change your bedsheets twice a week and see if it gets any better.

I am allergic to certain detergents too... I can break out in hive type stuff. You just have to find something that works for you.

It's actually very common. Doss your detergent have bleach in it? Most likely that is the problem. So find something without bleach or for sensitive skin. As long as it is very mild it shouldn't cause a reaction

you possibly have an allergy to the fabric your clothes are made of. you should also check what is in your detergent and find what might cause itchiness or redness. you most likely are allergic.
