Not necessarily, but if I were in your position, and I have been, I would get a medical proffesional to look at it. Even the trauma intern at your closest hospital is good. There might be broken orbital bones, torn lenses or nerve damage that will only make your life hell after a few years.

In boxing matches, I've seen eye injuries close a boxer's eye (s), but they almost always regain sight in the orb. Still, an eye exam would be a must to check for and hidden injury to the organ which may cause blindness.
