Why are guys at the gym so weak?

I'm a chubby girl who goes to the gym. I barely pull or lift at all. I was pulling like 45 pounds without a problem. Real easy... too easy in fact, I had to increase to 77 pounds to challenge myself. 77 pounds was harder but really not that hard. 10 minutes into my workout. I saw two other guys, athletically fit looking, strong looking, tall. Two of them were grunting and huffing and puffing due to how hard it is... one guy was pulling a mere 44 pounds. Another one was doing 50 pounds. Both were pulling just 3 times, grunting, dying... and then taking 5 minute breaks in between. On the other hand, I literally have been pulling 44 pounds for 5 minutes. The 77 pounds the next 5 minutes with no problems. I'm not out of breath or grunting or dying...

I look nowhere close to being fit as them at all. I'm chubby, kinda stocky, no obvious muscle tone. I'm just surprised at how weak these fit men are. And why I'm not fitter looking than them.
